LUPUS FELLOWSHIP
IN REVIEW
The Geoff
Carr Fellowship
has provided the opportunity for local and foreign trainees to
specialize in lupus, while at the same time providing service
to lupus clinic patients in Ontario. Recipients of this award
have produced relevant research papers and have advanced knowledge
of lupus in the field. The
Fellowship is designed to train a rheumatologist to be an expert
in the management of patients with Lupus. The Lupus Fellow follows
patients at an accredited Lupus clinic, supervises patient care
and education, and becomes involved in clinical research. This Fellowship has
been an excellent way to memorialize the late Geoff Carr. See Application
information
