Michelle Petri, MD, MPH, Professor of Medicine, Division of Rheumatology, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Petri received her MD from Harvard Medical School and her Masters in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health. Dr. Petri has had a long time interest in Lupus, has published numerous articles, and been awarded several prestigious grants for her research work. She serves on a number of editorial boards and professional societies, and is sought after as an international speaker and authority on Lupus.
Dr. Petri will gave the keynote address: A New Day For Lupus - Prevention Is Worth A Pound Of Cure (But We Want A Cure Too) at the 2002 Lupus Symposium in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
